 The Federation of Jewish
Communities of the CIS relies on the generosity of its supporters to achieve our mission
of restoring Jewish life in the former Soviet Union. Through our various programs and
activities, we assist tens of thousands of people each year.
All overhead and administrative costs
of the FJC are covered, allowing 100% percent of your donation to go directly to the
program or project of your choosing.
We accept donations for specific
programs as well as construction projects.
If you are giving to a specific
program, please be sure to note which program on your check or in a letter
accompanying your gift.
Whether you are a longtime supporter
of the FJC or you are giving for the first time, we thank you on behalf of the people and

Donate Stock and Securities
Electronic delivery of stock shares is the most secure and expedient delivery
process available and provides efficient internal control as well as cost savings. You
may also transfer certificates directly. Either way, please contact our NY office for
information and forms to facilitate your gift of stock.
Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gifts programs where they match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, please request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed to FJC with your gift. We will take care of the rest.

3 organization. Your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

$50 - pays for winter coats
and a heater for an elderly couple.
$108 - feeds a needy
person in one of our soup kitchens everyday for six weeks.
$180 - provides a
homebound, indigent person with food and healthcare for one month.
$300 - provides six months
of medication for an impoverished individual at an FJC medical clinic.
$600 - sponsors two
children in a two-week summer sleep-away camp.
$1,440 - covers one year of
school tuition at Ohr Avner Jewish day school for one child.
$4,200 - "adopts" a child in one
of our children’s homes for one year, providing food, clothing, medical care, school
tuition, camp fees, and more.
