Jews of Makeyevka Open a Synagogue after 70 Years
MAKEYEVKA, Ukraine – The first synagogue has been consecrated in the city of Makeyevka after almost 70 years. From now on, the house at 51 Lva Tolstogo street will be not only a synagogue but also a community center for a Jewish community containing two thousand members.
