BREST, Belarus –Members of Brest Jewish community participated in the memorial service dedicated to the memory of the victims of Nazi genocide who perished in the Brest ghetto 64 years ago.
The commemoration began with a gathering at the memorial site in the city. Rabbi of Brest Chaim Rabinovich recited the Kaddish. The event continued at the mass grave 'Bronnaya Gora' at the town outskirts where 30,000 prisoners of Brest ghetto were killed by Nazis.
